About Us

Arki is a learning community where love comes first. We welcome all children and believe in a balanced mix of education, play and freedom. Set within the beautiful jungle at the foot of Khao Ra mountain on Koh Phangan, a spacious children's centre awaits. Traditional classrooms and Bamboo shala structures are used as spaces to teach. Between learning time the outside grounds of Arki become alive with children, playing between the trees, socialising with friends, an area to be young and carefree.

As each individual child has its own uniqueness and potential of growth, we have created this space to give them companionship and the need and support through their learning journey to get the maximum positive outcome by looking individually at each child. It's important for us to support their physical skills, creativity and imagination.

Our Curriculum

At Arki Kids, we believe in offering a personalized learning experience for every child. Rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum, we design and tailor unique educational programs that cater to the individual needs and interests of our students. While we don't adhere strictly to an external curriculum, we align our approach with international education standards to ensure that our students acquire the same foundational knowledge as their peers in other international schools.

Our curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Art. Lessons are taught in a creative, engaging way, blending traditional learning with innovative methods that stimulate curiosity and foster a love of learning. We take pride in teaching these subjects through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and exploration, making learning both fun and meaningful.

Each unit typically concludes with an exciting, educational project, which allows students to apply what they’ve learned in a practical, problem-solving context. These projects encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity, helping students develop important skills for the future.

At Arki Kids, we also prioritize the development of key life skills and we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who are not only academically successful but also confident, compassionate, and curious.
